About organizations
If you were invited to join Retrium via email invitation or link, you will not need to set up an organization as one has already been set up.
Organizations provide a convenient way to organize and manage all associated individuals and teams using Retrium, whether you have one or multiple Team Rooms. When you start a free trial, an organization is automatically created, and you can view a list of Team Rooms and manage organization members and settings from there.
View, filter, and sort Team Rooms

From the Team Rooms tab, you can filter by:
- Membership status - Your Team Rooms / Other Team Rooms
- Team Room tags - Select one or more tags (Business and Enterprise Editions)
Filters can be removed entirely by clicking the x to the right of the filter name above the Team Room list.
You can sort by:
- Team Room name
- Team Room creation date
- Last retro date
Team Room Visitors can see public and org-wide Team Rooms as well as private Team Rooms they've been invited to.
View and manage members of your organization
Adding a user to the Members tab at the organization level does not add them to a Team Room. To add people to a Team Room, a member of the Team Room must invite them.
From the Members tab of your organization, you can invite new members to the organization by using the Invite New Members field. You can invite members one-at-a-time, or up to twenty at once by adding each email separated by a comma.
Org Admins can also export a list of members and manage user roles from this tab.
Edit organization settings and billing information
Org Admins can update organization settings through the Administration tab:
- Edit the name of the organization
- Add and manage Team Room tags (Enterprise Edition)
- Retrieve Retrium API credentials (Enterprise Edition)
- Add or remove domain permissions (Business and Enterprise Editions)
- Update billing information (Team Edition)
- Download invoices (Team Edition)
