Overview
Tags allow Org Admins and Managers to categorize Team Rooms by topic, department, or any other criteria that suit your Organization. You can also filter your Team Rooms using tags from your Team Room list. This article explains how to manage tags to organize your Team Rooms and improve collaboration within your team.
Managing tags at the Organization level (Org Admins only)
Org Admins can create, modify, and delete tags at the Organization level.
Creating tags
Tags can be up to 50 characters in length and can contain letters, numbers, spaces, special characters, and more.
- Once you are logged in and have selected your Organization, navigate to the Administration tab
- Click Tags from the left menu or scroll to the Tags section
- Click the + Add button and enter the name of the tag you want to create
Editing tags
Any changes made to a tag will be reflected across all Team Rooms currently using that tag.
- Navigate to the Administration tab and click Tags from the left menu
- Click Rename next to the tag you want to edit
- Update the tag name as desired and click Save
Deleting tags
Deleting a tag is permanent and will remove the tag from all Team Rooms.
- Navigate to the Administration tab and click Tags from the left menu
- Click and hold the trash can icon next to the tag you want to delete until it disappears
Managing tags in a Team Room
Org Admins and Org Managers can add and remove tags from Team Rooms. Removing a tag from a Team Room does not remove it from your Organization's overall list of tags.
Adding tags to Team Rooms
- Navigate to the Team Room you wish to edit
- Click the Settings tab at the top of the Team Room
- Scroll to the Add Team Room Tags section
- Click the dropdown to search for tags
- Select the tag(s) you want to be applied to the Team Room
Removing tags from Team Rooms
- Navigate to the Team Room you wish to edit
- Click the Settings tab at the top of the Team Room
- Scroll to the Add Team Room Tags section
- Click the x next to a tag to remove it from the Team Room
