How to set up Azure AD/AD Connect SSO for use with Retrium

What to expect

Your onboarding email from Retrium’s Customer Success team includes a link to an SSO form you will need to submit to initiate your implementation.

What to expect for your SSO implementation with Retrium:

  1. After submitting your form, you will receive an email confirming your submission and providing a link to schedule a testing call.
  2. Once the call has been scheduled, Retrium will provide you with the Identifier (Entity ID) and Reply URL (Assertion Consumer Service URL) to be entered within Azure.
  3. After you save your SAML configuration in Azure, you can then provide us with the following:
    • Attributes (if different from the defaults)
    • Certificate (Base64)
    • Login URL

How to set up a custom Retrium app in Azure

  1. Log into your Azure account
  2. Select Enterprise applications from the lefthand sidebar
  3. Click + New application at the top of the page
  4. Click + Create your own application at the top of the new page
  5. In the field What's the name of your app?, enter Retrium
  6. Choose Integrate any other application you don't find in the gallery (Non-gallery)
  7. Click Create
  8. Follow the steps below to configure SAML settings

How to configure SAML settings

  1. Click Single sign-on in the lefthand sidebar
  2. Select SAML from the options presented
  3. Click Edit in the Basic SAML Configuration section
  4. Under Identifier (Entity ID), click Add identifier and enter your Entity ID (check your email for this)
  5. Under Reply URL (Assertion Consumer Service URL), click Add reply URL and enter the Reply URL (check your email for this)
  6. Click Save

We'll request the following information from you to finish setting up your SSO configuration:

  • Attributes (if different from the defaults)
  • Certificate (Base64)
  • Login URL
