How do I create a new Team Room?

This article will cover how to create new Team Rooms.

When you sign up for a free trial account of Retrium, you'll be prompted to create your first Team Room

💡 The first Team Room created during a free trial defaults to the Public setting. To change it to Private use the Settings tab at the top of the Team Room page. (Learn more.)

What you need to know before getting started
  • Team Rooms are the place where your group runs retrospectives. (Learn more!)

  • You'll want to create a new Team Room any time you add another team of people who want to use Retrium. 

  • Only Org Admins and Managers can create or edit team rooms. 

⚠️ Creating a new Team Room may impact the cost of your monthly subscription. Team Edition customers will be charged on their next monthly invoice for new Team Rooms added; Business and Enterprise Edition customers will not be charged if it's within your license agreement.


Create a new Team Room

  1. From the Organization home, click + New Team Room

  2. Name your Team Room.

  3. Choose Public or Private.
  4. Add the member(s) that should be part of the Team Room.
  5. Click Create Team Room.

  6. Your Team Room has been created! 🎉

💡 You can change the name of your Team Room at any time. You can also change the type of Team Room (public or private) or deactivate a Team Room by returning to the Team Room Settings tab.
